You are perfectly right.
The fact is I didn't supposed that this wasn't working before...thus
my too fast conclusion.
Either way, both cases need testing, may be the last one needs a
separate bug/feature request report.
The last one may not be supported. You can not give CMake windows paths
for variable and expect it to work... :)
