If you adjust their order in the VS gui, and then compare the sln file to before you did that.... what changes? I am guessing that the order we specify the guid mappings in the sln file is the thing that controls the order here. There is no code that guarantees alphabetical order within CMake (unless it is that way by lucky side-effect). But if you analyze and tell me what controls the order, it should be easy to generate alphabetical order for the future.
