I logged this bug earlier this year: http://www.cmake.org/Bug/view.php?id=12916
The problem is that the FindDCMTK.cmake file leaves out a required library from DCMTK_LIBRARIES. I included a one line patch to fix the problem. According to the comment in the bug from David Cole, this is where I come to appeal for a CMake developer to adopt this bug and fix it.
