Not sure how [the changes in Mountain Lion] will impact things - I don't think I've tested against an XQuartz install in a while.

A Labs user reports that XQuartz is more-or-less the same as the 10.7 Mac OS implementation.  I wonder if XQuartz will keep up with changes in Mac OS in the long term, however.

Meantime, what would it take to get some Apple-specific support added to FindX11.cmake? If I did a version with some changes, would Kitware be interested in picking it up? It seems to me that I'm not the only one having problems.
