Hi all, VS 2012 and VS 2010 installed together *can* actually cause problems (it certainly did for me). I was getting exactly the same error as David Doria, and I had to install a service pack for 2010 to overcome it. See e.g. http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/da-DK/vssetup/thread/d10adba0-e082-494a-bb16-2bfc039faa80or http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10888391/link-fatal-error-lnk1123-failure-during-conversion-to-coff-file-invalid-or-c
