I assume you still use CPack without CMake?

For the moment setting CPACK_WIX_SIZEOF_VOID_P to 8 in your CPackConfig.cmake should work to let the generator know to use the 64 bit instead of the 32 bit prefix.

Hi,

What is the proper method to set the WiX install path? I am trying to create a 64 bit MSI installer, but cannot get the INSTALL_ROOT variable to point away from "C:\Program Files(x86)"

Consequently, when running CPACK, the wix.log alerts me to the following error messages :

This 64BitComponent X uses 32BitDirectory INSTALL_ROOT

Thanks!
