I'm more concerned about using both (linking against) at once, FooBarUser built in Release links against FooBar build in Release mode... AFAIK, some generators like makefile may lead to problems if the same location is reused for all build variants. That may only be avoided by generators like Visual Studio which additionally makes use of subfolders based on build variant.
