In section K5's latest update (12/02), am I correct in including IV meds administered via piggyback (expl: IV Rocephin diluted in 100 cc NS), or should I exlude the 100 cc when calculating average daily IV intake? Is it IV push meds that are solely excluded, or; are piggybacked meds/antibiotics also excluded...? Sorry if this is about the 90th time all of you have read such a question (I probably missed it during an earlier discussion). Once again, I thank all!
