I downloaded the MDS 3.0 draft of 4/2/03 and there is a new section called "SECTION X.  PREVENTIVE HEALTH(NEW).  It has 3 questions:       X1.  INFLUENZA VACCINE (To be asked only during January through March and October through December of each calendar year)           If eligible, has the resident received a dose of influenza vaccine since October 1 of the current influenza season?                                             0.  No                          1.  Yes                   2.  Unknown                   If no or unknown, go to infection control RAP ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________     X2.  PNEUMOCOCCAL VACCINE           If eligible, has the resident received a dose of pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPV) in less than or equal to 5 years?                                            0.  No                            1.  Yes                  2.  Unknown                 If no or unknown, go to infection control RAP ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________       X3.  TETANUS VACCINE           If eligible, has the resident received a tetanus-containing vaccine in less than or equal to 10 years?                                            O.  No                           1.  Yes                   2.  Unknown                  If no or unknown, go to infection control RAP _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ There are some changes to the RAP's so instead of 18 we now have 21 but they're different; at least for now, it is a draft so it could change.  Here's a list:        1.  Delirium                                                            6.  Urinary Incontinence and Indwelling catheter                    11.  Nutrition/Dehydration/Tube Feeding     2.  Cognitive Loss                                                   7.  Psychosocial Well-being                                                12.  Dental Care & Oral Hygiene     3.  Visual Function                                                 8.   Mood state & Behavior                                                13.  Pressure Ulcers-Treatments     4.  Communication                                                 9.   Activities                                                                       14.  Pressure Ulcer-Prevention     5.  ADL Functional/Rehab.
