I have a resident recently admitted approx 11 days ago. She had a KUB done due to her having an right ureterel stent in place. Unfortunately, the KUB read "severe constipation with dilatation of the colon and copious stool material in the rectum." In the nrsg notes it states fecal impaction and mag citrate was ordered with several effects. Futhermoe, this resident's admission OBRA is due within the lookback period . Do I code it as an fecal impaction or not? any help would be deeply appreciated.
Secon, would you code internal bleeding for an external bleeding hemorroid small amt?
