You can go ahead & do a 5day medicare
assessment, using saturday as your ARD. You'll get a message on your
Validation report indicating that the MDS was submitted out of order, but that's
all it is...a message. Go ahead and get paid for for that one
day.
Hi
I had a resident that was Medicare and came in on a Friday afternoon and
died Saturday night. I think I got it wrong and I did just a discharge
MDS with the reason, admission assessment not done. I already
transmitted this. I think that is wrong, how do I fix this?
Another question is, what do you for someone that came in for a 24 hour
respite care.? It was for one night only.
