A hospital stay counts as skilled services as does receiving Medicare Part A services
in a SNF. Part B is not usually counted as skilled services unless it is a
continuation of skilled services after Part A days have expired but still skilled
level of care being received.

Subject: hospital stay, new benefit period?
Does a hospital stay count as skilled services, as I understand being on
Part B does?
