I need some clarification on this subject, and I know it has been addressed before. Any help would be appreciated.
When testing residents for Range of Motion, you find that they cannot raise their “left” arm beyond shoulder height, but yet they have no problem with their “right” arm to prevent them from performing their ADLs (Grooming). Would you still code “0” for G4b under range of motion, since this limitation does not interfere with their performing ADLs?
Thanks again for any help.
Angie
