You put PROM for both examples.  I imagine that you wanted to ask what to do if there 
was 10 minutes of passive and 5 minutes of active.  In this instance you CANNOT code 
either on the MDS.  There needs to be at least 15 minutes of passive or 15 mintues of 
active to be able to code either on the MDS.  You cannot add them together and choose 
which program.  You can, however, add different treatment times done the same day.  
For instance , if day shift provided 10 minutes of passive range of motion to the 
resident and evening shift provided 5 minutes also of passive range of motion, then 
you could code passive range of motion for 1 day on the MDS.

I have a resident that is currently receiving PROM and AROM.  She
receives PROM for 10 minutes a day and PROM for 5 minutes a day.  Is
this considered a nursing rehab program.  If so what would I count it
under (AROM/PROM)?
