Do you really think that a surveyor is going to tell you how to fix this? It has been my experience that the surveyors don't and won't give advice of any kind.
 
Questions... How long has this resident been at your facility? Was the resident on the med before admission? Where did your resident come from? When was the medication started and what behaviors was the resident exhibiting to warrant the medication?
 
Did your pharmacy consultant pick up that there wasn't a diagnosis? Who follows up on his/her recommendations to se they get done?
 
Read F 329 Unnecessary drugs. I think you will find what you need there. Your Pharmacy Consultant should have the information you need, too.
