Depends on why they went out to hospital... and if they had a qualifying 3MN stay. You could probably get up to 14 days of nursing observation to ensure that condition is stable.... i.e someone sent to hospital with dehydration would have hydration/ weight/ etc... monitored upon return. They might not RUG in the top 26 catagories, but if your documentation reflects the monitoring you are doing there shouldn't be any problem with the claim.
