We have a resident who has a tibial plateau fracture. She was initially picked up for medicare. Dr has just said she will be NWB until Jan 29th at least. Therapy cannot justify treating her any longer. Can we put her into a low category for at least a week until she would be in the 30 day window to pick her back up? Can a letter of medical predictability be issued now?
