There is no place to code it because the MPAF only includes questions that
contribute to a RUG-III code.  Therefore, it can't be coded as intermittent
catheter.  If this is part of a training program designed to prepare the
resident to return to the community, it can be coded at P1r.  Training and
skill practice will fall below the "dotted line" on the RUG tree, so it will
necessitate daily documentation in clinical record to establish the delivery
of daily skilled services.

                    Our resident is being skilled for intermittent straight
cath (Kaiser insurance); on the MPAF form there is no option listed for
intermittent straight cath; how do I indicate on the MPAF that our resident
is being st. cath'd intermittently?  Pls. help!
