Our QA committee and administration are interested in reviewing compliance with our Medicare program.
Does anyone out there happen to have a checklist that will walk me through a review of our total Medicare program, looking at compliance for each component? It is needed to review such systems as: preadmission verification of coverage, documentation, certs/recerts, discharge planning, denial letters, notification of end of skilled services, etc, just to mention a few areas.
