Average los is 12-14 days and we run an average of five admits and discharges a day and usually keep out unit full. We do care conferences one hour a day twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday we do even rooms and Thursday we do odd rooms. This has worked out well for us and keeps all the disciplines up on what the patient is doing and whether their discharge goals and dates are headed in the right way.
