PPS Assessment

Hi there,

I have a case wherein we admitted Resident A, on Medicare, 1/6/04 @ 3:00 PM & discharged

to the hospital @ 10:00 PM on the same day. Do I need to do a 5 day assessment,

and set the Assessment Reference Date on the admission & discharge date?

Please let me know the most appropriate thing to do & the regulation regarding this

matter.
