I have a question to the group especially to Rena. We have a resident that exhausted her medicare days last 11/22/03. Resident is now on custodial care. Not on skilled. This resident will have total knee replacement on 27th of this month. My question is, can she be on medicare A when she goes back if she meets the criteria? Im asking because we will be discussing this at work. thanks for the response. I think that she can as long as she didn't receive any skilled care for 60 days.
