Thank you Nathan for answering. We are coming to Washington to look at homes in Aberdeen, Hoquaim, and Ocean Shores. They have several long term care facilities but on career builder there isn't much for MDS/ Care Plan Coordinator. I can only be a floor RN in psychiatry,which is what I did before I got into the RNAC position. Seattle will be an hour away. I will be in God's country all right.

I am in Issaquah, WA - just outside of Seattle. Welcome to God's country. Moving from Florida will take some adjustment, but you will love it.
I don't know what the job market in LTC looks like right now, but will look around. What are you looking for....RNAC, floor nurse, supervisor?

Hello all, I am presently working and living in South Florida. As an MDS Coordinator, jobs are plentiful here. We are moving to the Gray's Harbor area of Washington state. I am wondering how I will ever find a position there. I can work part time or full time. Any ideas? If anyone works in Washington state can you let me know what the job market is like?
