I have recently received some information about the compliance with subpart
S and resident's with severe mental illness. First question, is the state
or fed regulations? I have been on Il. Dept. of Public Health's web site
and downloaded some info and according to that I do not have any resident's that
would fall under subpart S. There has not been any training for facility
staff but surveyors received training and will be surveying accordingly.
How are we expected to be in compliance if don't know what we are to do?
Has anyone else out there heard of subpart S? Thanks in advance for you
assistance.
