Long Term Care Nurses - off topic

anyone have any good resources or websites that show 'in a nutshell' why long term care nursing is so great, I am looking for some 'motivators' for my licensed staff.  My SNF is connected to an acute hospital and so often we vie for resources and sometimes acute forgets that SNF nurses need at least equal assessment skills etc.  We may not have the flashy trauma, life/death scenarios, but day in, day out, my nurses do more assessments than in our critical access hospital..but it just doesn't seem as important for some reason.   When I went to the AANAC conference in Vegas, I was so excited when one of the speakers (can't remember her name) got up on the stage and just gave a big cheer for long term care nursing, and I wish I could find some more of that to share with my nurses, so if you have any ideas, please share them, and thanks!
