No, the original scenario clearly stated the resident was not being fed (OR HYDRATED), and the flushes were being administered to keep the GT open should she need meds. For MDS purposes, was she being fed or hydrated? Keeping in mind, again, the physician's order, the answer is an obvious no, "plain and simple." (sic)
