I ASKED OUR SPEECH THERAPIST, SHE DOES NOT
THINK IT IS A REG., BUT IS NOT A STARDARD OF CARE AND/OR IS NOT BEST PRACTICE
FOR VARIOUS REASONS, RISK OF ASPIRATION, "FORCE FEEDING" ETC.
By syringe feeding/fluid
administration I mean actually putting food/fluids into a syringe and then
feeding/hydrating the resident with the syringe.
