We have it care planned and reassessed
quarterly for continued appropriateness. State has been in on this
particular resident at least twice and it has not been an issue.

Is it o.k. to sleep in a
recliner? We have a resident who has asked for her bed to be
removed cause she wants to sleep in the chair... DON said no but I remember
this being discussed here & thought it was o.k.? Any safety
rules/survey rules that would be broken?

For my resident who sleeps in a recliner
chair, I code this according to how she moves in the recliner.

What if your resident does not sleep
in bed ever. They only sit/sleep in their recliner chair d/t
breathing difficulties. Do you could 8/8 as did not occur or do you
look at the help she needs in the recliner chair????
