Update on family situation

Hi All, I just wanted to say thank you all again for being a wonderful, caring support group! While the professional support and information on cmdg are exceptional, the emotional support is an amazing bonus!!!   My brother just called and said that the Ped Ortho surgeon decided not to operate, but to put Jacob in a spica cast for 6 weeks. And he did officially dx Osteogenesis Imperfecta, based on the fractures, bluish color of the sclerae and a couple of other classic symptoms that are present. I am thankful that he will not have to deal with surgery and anesthesia on top of everything else.   Again, thank you all for being so compassionate.   Holly
