Probably not. There needs to be a daily skilled service provided for Medicare coverage to continue. While restorative nursing programs can qualify, they do not necessarily provide 100 days of Medicare coverage. Without more information, it sounds as if they would not qualify for prolonged Medicare A coverage. It would be helpful to look at the CMS medlearn site to get more specific information.

Can you skill somone for a full 100 days if they meet the criteria per RAI manual pages 6-20 thru 6-25. I guess my question is could you keep these people for a full 100 days of skilled service as long as they continue to meet the criteria? Ex: imparied cognition, imparied communication, imparied memory and 2 RNCP or ADL 10 or less and wandering
