You cannot code 8/8 unless the activity did not occur the entire 7 day assessment
window. If the resident was independent with ambulation at least 3 times in the
assessment window and required no additional assistance at least 3 times, your coding
of 0/0 would be correct.

Subject: section G coding

Hello Everyone,

I have a resident that opened on 02/21/2004 for her annual assessment.
During the assessment period she went out an had a skin graft done. I
am confused on coding section G. For walking in room she was a 0/0
prior to having the skin graft done. However, since the skin graft she
was a 8/8 what would you code her as. I coded her as a 0/0.

thanks in advance,

Billie Stewart, RNAC
