You are correct. She will not meet the 60 day wellness related to her
having been given IV's prior to hospital admit.

A resident has been in my facility for years, on medicaid. recentlyshe
became ill, and was placed on IV therapy for a few days before going to
the
hospital. she did have a 3 day stay there. my question is- once she
returned, do I put her on Med A? I am thinking no since she had skilled
care
the last few days before she left our facility, therefore does not meet
the
60 days of unskilled care criterial.
Please advise and thanks!
