You would code the MDS sections just as you would for a resident with late stage 
Alzheimer's disease.  There are options in many of the sections to take if you cannot 
have a resident read, for example, or do balance test.

WE have a resident, who, if not for the families objections, could be
diagnosed as "persistent vegitative state". Because she does not have
that diagnosis, I'm confused about how to correctly code the sections
that would be omitted if she had that diagnosis.
