Someone had done a spreadsheet last year regarding this idea. The times used were 6 hours for a comprehensive assessment including RAPs and careplans, 3 hours for full MDSs (PPS) and 2 hours for a quarterly. Some states have larger quarterlies than others. Also about 15 minutes for a tracking form. I know that we can all do some assessments in less time, but counting the physical assessment time, the scheduling and the IDT meeting time, it is probably very close. Also if you look on the AANAC site , there was a survey done in 2001 of time. Go to document library, type in "survey' in the search box and click on survey, I think. You need to pull the survey all the way to the bottom to find the time studies. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Maria Marney" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, February 26, 2004 12:19 PM Subject: MDS position staffing
