Those emails likely didn't come from AANAC.  This latest round of viruses is forging return addresses to make it look like it came from somewhere other than where it actually came from.   Many virus scanners are not catching the virus because it's contained in a zip file attachment.
 
Best advice I can give is to make sure your virus scanner is up to date and to be vary cautious when receiving anything with a zip file attachments.
