Carol,
There is no HIPPS code to reflect a quarterly combined with a 14 day, so the appropriate HIPPS code is 07. The only HIPPS that can reflect a quarterly is a 90 day 54. The code of 5 is only used with that code. So, the UB92 should accept the code of 07 without problem, it is the appropriate code to use in this instance.
The quarterly will be acknowledged by the state. And the Medicare assessment goes through with the quarterly attached.

Combined a Quarterly with a 14 day Medicare. Was accepted. Now can not get the HIPPS code to be accepted on the UB 92. Any ideas???
