Is the question of the day....

Nooooooooo you do nothing until the resident returns then you will decide which will accuraterly reflect the current level of care for this person....a quarterly or change of condition.

Remember if the resident qualifies you may want to pick the person up on MC.

Subject: To Do Or Not To Do

Hi All,

I've had a major brain block.

A resident was scheduled to have a quarterly this week, ARD 3/9, but I felt that it should be a sig change and changed it. Now I've learned that the resident was sent out and admitted to the hospital yesterday and is not doing well. The feeling is that the resident may not come back.

Do I do the sig change now or wait, or what?

Happy Monday!

Thanks,

Dorothy
