I received two e-mails notifying me that the e-mail attachment was blocked, so I trust the link will go through.  The attachment was a web page, for heaven's sake!  Here's the link:

This is based totally on facility policy and the wishes of your medical director.  Some want foleys changed monthly and some want foleys changed prn.

Just when you never think you will need information, guess what?  Could someone either provide the CDC recommendation or tell me where to find the info on the CDC web site regarding not routinely changing foley catheters.  I tried a search today and gave up.
