I read your policy with interest. I didn't send our policy related to the AED as it is imbedded in our code cart policy. We have a seperate CPR/advance directives policy.

I noticed that you do not address a second battery. Since we have had our AED for more than 6 years, we were caught unawares when our battery stopped working. (we were counting the number of tests and uses, to match the manufacturer's representation of the life of the battery, but were not aware of the length of use in years). I would recommend that you purchase a back up battery, and have it stored in an accessable spot "just in case".
