Hi, group;
My DON just asked me for my job description as an MDS Coordinator so she
can give me another nurse to train. I don't have a job description because
I do much more than the MDS: weight variance committee, psychotropic
restraint committee, falls and physical restraints committee, care plans,
family care conferences, scheduling for family care conferences, scheduling
for MDS dates. I also am required to attend "stand-up" conference each
morning (1 hour), managers meetings once a month, Performance Improvement
meetings that I have put together statistics for falls, skin problems,
psychotropics, weights.
Now, my real need is for a general job description just for the MDS person
that will be doing only the MDS work itself. If anyone out there has one
