You are right!!  Every time that I teach ADLs I challenge the CNAs to describe limited assistance for personal hygiene to me.  The only thing that I can think of easily, would be guiding a blind resident's hands to basin, soap, cloth, towel as you would for eating.  Most care given does fall in the extensive assistance category.

Could someone give me a couple of examples of limited assist with personal hygiene for section G? I want to inservice our cna's on how to code flow sheets but every example we can think of is extensive. And no examples in the RAI manual.

Thanks in advance
Kim
