We’ve also had good luck with Megace.  Another medication that has worked wonders is Remeron.  It’s an antidepressant but one of the side effects is that it stimulates appetite and therefore wt gain.  I’ve had resident’s that have said “food has never tasted soo good”

A lot of times Megace works wonders for the appetite. ..... How about using a bread maker or crock pot w/ soup in an area the resident frequents, or something else that might remind the resident of  home.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do with a resident that just won't eat. We have tried everything from a high calorie peanut shake to a daily beer. Would like to see some weight gain.
