I'm sorry, but I am still not clear on this issue---apparently the eye
glasses are not coverred. but in our case--and I had asked this earlier
this week, the new resident on skilled unit wants to go to her eye appt
that had been set up prior to admittance --is the eye dr visit and exam
included in our daily rate---or can the office just bill the patient??
thanks

Hey group. I have a lady on Med A and her sponsor/son wants her to be
seen by the visiting optometrist for eye glasses. What is our
responsibilty in this? Does the facility pay for the eyeglasses? Any
help would be appreciated. thanks Terri
