We rarely have a demand bill but did recently. When all the paperwork
was reviewed by UGS they apparently decided to not only uphold our
decision toi issue the denial for 9/29 and beyond but they also took
back money they paid us for 9/1 through 9/28/03! We feel confident that
the person was skilled from 9/1 to 9/28 for UTI and pain management with
increasing doses of Duragesic. Has anyone else had this problem and how
did you fight it?
