Yes. A UTI in the past 30 days in section I is all they are asking for. Not asking for Sx or meds or anything else. Just that there has been a UTI in the past 30 days. Also, if the MD writes a note and starts a resident on meds for a UTI, prior to the lab confirmation, you can still count that. But it sounds like you have it all. Just care plan the UTI, what is being done and that the resident will continue to remain free and clear of s/sx of UTI following completion of the medication. Obviously, the meds are working. May want to follow up with a C&S after a couple weeks just to confirm absence of the UTI and then D/C the POC.
