in all fairness to this new thriving company, everyone has to start
somewhere and if I am not mistaken, didn't AANAC start in a spare room in
Diane's home. I think its fine to say you would prefer one over the other,
but unless you have really had dealings with them we shouldn't be so quick
to judge. There website is not all that bad, sometimes you have to start
small and cut corners in someplaces in order to grow. We should all know
better......

The website is a mess! Also you should all check out the memo Diane Carter
did (on aanac website) about Certificate versus Certification and the fact
that AANAC did extensive research and there is no such thing as
"certification" for this.

Exactly! I do think it is interesting that a month ago I couldn't even find
a link to this website and it was already being solicited. I have no
intention of giving them my hard earned money. I received my RAC-C in July
last year and haven't seen anything that compares so far. The AANAC is a
fantastic resource. I wonder how many other places there are like this other
one tho...

This appears to be a new training organization. Very basic website,
obviously not done by a professional website designer. Many areas still
under construction - including membership benefits. No information about
the training/credentials of the people doing the training - not even their
names. Question/Answer area for/by members does not seem to exist at
present. Although sort of implied by use of the logo, no claim actually
made that contact hours are approved by the Florida Healthcare Assn. They
may in fact provide useful training, but if you want your "credential" to be
"credible" - my personal opinion is that you need to look elsewhere. I
would not be giving them my money with no more information than they have
provided on this website.

Yesterday I received another letter from NRAI regarding certification. This
is the same one we talked about a while back and I could find no info on the
web last time. The phone number and address were a couple numbers off, etc
and I thought it was bogus. I rechecked for the website after this last
correspondence and they do have one now. It is located in Florida. Anyone
from Fla. aware of this? Is it legitimate? Any info on how long, nationally
recognized etc? web address is www.nrai.net <http://www.nrai.net> check it
out and your thoughts please?
