I checked several sites
for celebratory days/weeks/months and this is what I found.
May is National Older
Americans Month
May 6-12 is National
Nurse's Week
May 9-15 is National
Nursing Home Week
June 10-17 is National
Nursing Assistant Week
May 6 is Nurse's
Day
I couldn't find anything
on NAC or MDS nurse but June 6-12 is National Headache Awareness Week and Oct 27
is Cranky Co-worker's Day, one of those might work for us! Maybe we can start an
"official" day to recognize everyone who deals with the MDS process. Maybe you
can talk about that in Atlantic City. I won't be there this year because I an
going on vacation the following week and I will be doing some MDS's early so my
fellow MDS nurse will not be so overwhelmed while I am gone for 2 weeks.

at MOOD indicators. ;-)
I vote for NAC month. To be celebrated at
Katie Fox's house in the Virgin Islands. ( Or is it Bahamas,
Katie????)
