For resident one, you might be able to use the admission assessment for one of the PPS assessments. You will need to contact your fiscal intermediary to determine if they will allow that. You will most probably have to accept the default rate for the other timeframes, unfortunately. You cannot go back and create assessments now. If the resident is still in the facility and still skilled, complete a PPS assessment now for the 90 day assessment. For the second resident, I would code the MDSs as if they were Medicare assessments.
