The Resident Data Set (iirc) is available as a Briggs form.

When Mariner instituted their corporate-wide documentation system, Briggs supplied the forms.
I am a big fan of the RDS as well, and it is one of the things I am going to suggest in my 4 week stint as interim top dog.  ;-)

I also like the Functional Performance Record that came out at the same time.

Subject: Fwd: RNAC's, do you do mds documentation?

I work for Mariner and they use something called an RDS done quarterly and we schedule that to be done during the ADR so that we can use it as part of supportive documentation.  It is Mariner policy and I love it.  I was prior IHS and Nexion and have to say that this is the best tool so far.

but, what I have seen in the past
is that you try to schedule your monthly summaries (if done) to coincide
with the MDS due date and that could be your documentation
Our monthly summaries are due by the 10th day of every month.  If they are done, it is great for MDS's due that time period.  But doesn't help a bit for later on.
