Does anyone have any idea what the Geometric length of stay
for hip pinnings and prosthesis should be. I was told at one time that the
Geometric length of stay for a hip pinning was 5 post-op days, and that for a
hip prosthesis that the length of stay was 4 post-op days. We are having
some confusion as to what the DRG says and what is the recommended length of
stay is for these DRG's with CC. Please can anyone help
me?
